Talk about HEAVY DUTY! This thing is super well made, super secure! I mounted it to the headache rack of my work truck, but you could just as easily mount it to a wall. The metal is heavy, not cheap or flimsy. The latch keeps the fire extinguisher secure, there is a bolt to tighten the latch down snug. On the inside of the bracket, there are rubber bumpers that sit against the fire extinguisher to keep it from rattling. I am impressed!

This mounting bracket works well in my vehicle. It will mount the extinguisher in two different directions. The bracket is adjustable to fit a 4 1/2 inch diameter fire extinguisher and securing it from coming loose when it is properly installed in the carrier. The bracket is made of steel and has bumpers to secure the extinguisher, also a carter pin to secure the latch against accidental openings. It is easy to use incase of emergency and will allow for reinstalling the extinguisher after use.
