My only concern was how long the zip closure would last and they have proven VERY durable. These are an ideal size. They have a closed gusseted bottom and an open top with both a zip lock and optional heat seal above the zip. They are the most intelligently designed Mylar bags on Amazon.
Why would you want a bag that is open on the bottom and requires a heat seal before you can use it, when you can have your chose with these? Use the zip lock or heat seal the bag for permanent storage. These are the bags you want.
