Can't put a round peg in a square hole.

Just what I was looking for. Just the right size to hold pens & pencils and deep enough to also hold scissors & ruler without taking up a lot of space on my desk .

Works great...slight dent in the side but it doesn't really matter I guess. If you just want a place to shove 20 or so regular size pens and pencils, it's right for you.
