Great cap for sealing and transporting fuels

Have to turn them on very tight but it seals the cans of my 5 gallon and 2 gallon Midwest and old eagle Gas and diesel cans. Added vents as well and put epoxy glue when installing, made cans flow or empty in less than a minute like the good old ones. No leaks.
Perfect fit for Scepter 5 gallon Gas Cans.

Bought 1 package of these for our Scepter gas and diesel 5 gallon plastic containers and they fit perfectly. Ordering more now that I know for certain they fit correctly and seal tight.
Keep in mind we only use these caps for when we refill our gas cans to make transporting the gas safer then we restore the fill nozzles . ***If your gas cans are not vented then you do not want to leave these on filled gas cans.***

Good price on a hard to find part. I bought several for use on diesel cans while transporting the fuel. I got one free flow spout, elsewhere on Amazon, and use it to fill with. The rest of my squadron of five gallon cans are stored with these caps.

Finally found this item. Arrived fast and well packed at a great price. And finally found a REAL cap for my 5 gallon plastic gas cans with all those dysfunctional "safety pour spouts" that don't work well and cause lots of spills.
First one of the caps I used seem to not fit very well, but went on with some effort. Went to the 2nd through 6th can and the cap went right one smoothly. Turns out the first can was different than the rest and didn't have very good threads. So the caps work perfectly on all my cans that have good threads...and still works with a bit of effort on the one that is sort of dodgy.
Awesome. Highly recommend product and seller.
