I love the colors and the quality of the shell

My GF bought this for me for my new job. I love the colors and the quality of the shell. We're an All American made manufacturer so its goes well with that quality theme. She asked me yesterday how I like the hat since it was July 4th. You know how the mind works...red white and blue...Hey, I wonder how he likes his hat? :)
Unfortunately, she was surprised to find out that I had to buy a suspension system for it as none came with it. She assured me it did and according to the description, a Fas Trac III Suspension was supposed to accompany it. I contacted Amazon customer service and even though it is outside of the normal 30 day return window, they are going give me a credit for the suspension. Thank you Amazon!

Product came on time and correct colour. It was a medium, which was a bit disappointing as I was hoping for a large. However, they don't guarantee anywhere that it'll be a large so fair enough.
Hard hat came with superficial scuffs and scratches. I don't think it's used per-se, just doesn't seem to be brand new. Doesn't effect the functionality of the product and I plan to get it a lot more scuffed anyway.

Used this for about a month of construction work- possibly one of the best purchases I've ever made. The patriotic decor does not disappoint. Colors are bright and look great, the decal is high quality and survived endless falls down stairs or skids across concrete. No signs of peeling or discoloration (though I live in a cloudy area). The hat itself has protected me very well- got bonked on the head with at least a few 2x4s and barely felt the impact.
Note: the suspension does not come pre-installed, the directions are impossible to understand (all complicated diagrams) and it took me well over an hour to figure out how to install it. That being said, once it's installed, it's in there for life. I tried to take the suspension out later to store the hat and was unable to get the clips out. Which is good- wouldn't want the clips falling out while I'm working.
