The quality of this small bag is simply amazing, it presents like one much more expensive, several times over. The color is a rich brown and the crafting of the canvas is such that it almost reads like suede or leather. Quite handsome, for women and men. I am 5' 7" and the shoulder strap was ample, such that I can readily wear it as a cross body bag or just over my shoulder. I fit my wallet, a large sunglass case, my cell phone, car keys, gloves, tissues, chapstick, small Sony Cybershot camera, and protein bar inside, with room to spare. There are outside pockets and divided pockets inside, with the ability to unzip and expand the outside to make it larger. A paperback book would fit as well as a 16 oz water bottle (you would just have to prioritize what you needed most for your trip that day). Lightweight and quite comfortable. The size is more of a medium in my mind and has a good proportionality with your body, looks substantial, but neither a regular sized purse nor a tiny one. When I get a chance I will post a pic with it cross body (hint- something the seller should do) so you can see the size and how well it fits.

This is a powerhouse of a little bag, attractive, well made, reasonably priced and a cool way to carry your stuff. I like the Velcro front clasp for security reasons as I prefer wearing it cross body, slung behind me, and it would not be possible for someone to open it without your knowing. Am going to now purchase the larger bag in the same color for when I want to take along my iPad.

Oh my word! I LOVE this bag. I was super hesitant at first because there weren't many reviews, and I've been carrying a different bag for probably over 5 years that broke recently. When the package arrived, I was unsure whether I liked it at first. I thought that the way it closes was not made properly. It is velcro, and I was nervous that the velcro would wear out too soon, and I would have to buy a new bag because the way it closes was cheaply done. It turns out that I really like the velcro. It works perfectly. The way that they positioned the two pieces means that I can just drop the flap and it fastens on its own.

There are multiple pockets. I fit my mini-sketch book, phone, voice recorder, usp, wallet, extra cash, feminine items, pens, mints, and chapsticks all comfortably in this purse with room to spare and no excessive bulging. It also has a zipper that lets the purse expand. I just love it! I would buy from them again.

LOVE this bag! Nice olive color for fall. Strap is easily adjusted for crossbody or shoulder. Fabric and strap are strong material and the purse is sewn well. Front pocket with zipper is perfect to easily access a phone or wallet. Inside pockets are handy for holding business cards, chapstick, keys....any of those little things that usually fall to the bottom. Main body of the purse expands with a zipper, and I easily fit an 8" tablet, notepad, glassses and lotion inside. This is a perfect purse for anyone who likes a smaller, organized, bag.

I have a problem. I go through bags frequently. I just like the change, and there's always a new one that I like more than previous ones. While I was hunting for a small but versatile bag for an upcoming Disney World vacation, I had narrowed my options down to this Berchirly bag and another similarly sized/designed bag of another brand. I wasn't sure if the bag would be too small, so I ordered it knowing I could easily exchange it for the other bag if needed.

For this vacation we wanted to drastically simplify what we carried into the parks, but as a mom of 5, I still needed enough room for a diaper or two (size 3 in particular, for size reference) and a small pack of wipes, as well as a thin wallet (thinner than my everyday wallet, purchased particular for this reason), my cell phone, a small camera (the one used in the picture is just one I found, but I will be taking a slightly larger Canon Powershot), a pen, chapstick, and maybe a granola bar or some small snacks for the kids. At first I wasn't sure if this Berchirly bag would work, because while the small size is very desirable, the design of the bag is such that it gets slightly narrower at the opening, so while it is wider within the body and on the bottom of the bag, the tighter opening made me wonder if I'd be able to fit what I needed inside.

I'm happy to report that I did a "trial packing" of the bag and everything fits with room and pockets to spare! I love the compact size but still having enough pockets to customize the storage. There is a zippered pocket along the back, along the front flap, and along the back inside the body of the back. Also inside, along the front, are two open pouches. I've added a picture of the depth of those pouch style pockets, as they aren't deep enough to store a pen, for example, but they would be perfect for chapstick or something closer to that height. The body size can be expanded with a zipper for a little more space inside.

The canvas is very sturdy. I was so impressed with the quality of the bag for the price I paid! It looks easy to keep clean and it just feels like a good, solid bag. It carries nicely and is small enough to stay close to my body without flopping against me while I walk like some messenger/crossbody style bags can do. I also love the neutral colors, they are timeless!

I highly recommend this bag for anyone wanting a small but versatile option, for everyday use or for travel. You can't beat this one, at this price!

It is exactly the size they say it is! I love the small size - I wanted a man-purse and this is it. I did NOT want a giant woman's purse or anything that looked like a woman's purse. I wear it across my chest/shoulder. It fits neatly between and the drivers door in my truck without having to take it off for driving. At 5'8" and fully extended it hangs on my hip opposite the shoulder side.

The outer edge zipper allows it to be a thicker bag. Closed zipper: I carry my billfold, one travel-pack of Kleenex, 3" mini flash-light, iPhone 6 and plug, set of keys, and any folded papers etc I need for a particular trip (such as shopping lists, sample screws for the hardware store, pill bottle, etc). I could stuff lots more in it but I don't like it crowded. I put my iPhone 6 and billfold in the short pocket found immediately under the main flap - just pull the Velcro flap and get out what I want and drop the flap and the Velcro catches it. In the deeper top pocket (main compartment) I have my Kleenex pack, flashlight and reading glasses with my set of keys dropped into one of the little pockets mounted inside that main compartment. If I were walking all over town I would probably put my keys in the outer zipper pocket so even if I take my bag off several times during the day the keys couldn't possible slip out. Otherwise I probably won't use the outer zipped pocket unless I need to carry a passport.

The only "leather" on this bag is the logo and the little zipper tag you see in the picture - which is fine - I like the canvas actually.

I like the brown color, almost green looking indoors but definitely brown in the sunlight. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Excellent value for $17. Well constructed. Most likely break-point is the opposing Velcro pieces (under the main flap) which appear to be glued on rather than stitched on.
