Great jacket style BCD, with jacket weaknesses.

I didn't buy this BCD on Amazon, but I've used one for 40 or so dives. It's a good jacket style BCD and I have been very happy with it for the most part. My favorite feature of this particular one is the right rear dump valve as well as the upper right valve. Super convenient and I almost never have to raise my inflator hose. The Surelock integrated weights ARE reliable, assuming you don't have the older recalled model which isn't sold anymore. The new ones do require that you confirm they are locked in by GRABBING THE FOLD OF THE WEIGHT POUCH and pulling hard. Obviously don't pull on the handle to test! My least favorite part of the BCD is the pockets which are hard to get to in the water, particularly if you are in a 7mm suit, but they are even a bit awkward with no wet suit due to their location. Aqualung did the best they could with dual zippers, but they are still a pain, especially if there is any air in the BCD at the time. I'm switching to a backplate/wing, but I'll keep this BCD as a second.

I didn't end up buying this BCD from amazon, but I figured I should leave a review anyway. I used this on about 6 dives already, and I haven't found anything to complain about it yet. It works great, I like that there is a dump valve on the bottom right of the back as well as pulling the BCD hose, the pockets are big enough to carry a slate but not so huge that it slows you down in the water, and I haven't had any issues with pouches falling out or anything breaking. The D rings are a handy to keep everything organized. This has become my go to BCD for any dives I do now. I am 5'4 and about 165 lbs with a stocky build and the small fits me better than a medium did. Overall a great BCD to have

I really like this BC, I have used one before so I decided I would get one. Unfortunately though I didn't receive the LP hose from first stage to the inflator. Also, I wish it had the d rings on the waist strap as the shoulder straps. As they make it so much easier to snug it up quickly. Overall, good purchase but would be five stars if not for the little things. Hopefully they get in contact with me and fix things.
