I've recently had to start wearing glasses, I've only ever worn readers before. I took my prescription to and eye lab, ordered some progressive lenses along with distance glasses, spent $600. The distance glasses were ok (but I don't really have a problem with distance anyway) the progressives were terrible, I've returned them twice to have them redo them and they still don't work for me. On a whim I looked at the FG progressives, I really like the quality of their readers, so I thought I'd give them a shot...for $35 what did I have to lose? OMG these glasses are great!!! Nice quality, great feel to them, very sturdy. I can wear them when I go out no blurry vision, I can read with them, I can do it all

I've been struggling with being able to see the computer for some time now. Regular readers didn't help because the computer is too far away. Then, I found these little miracles. Now my computer is crystal clear. I have a pair for home and a pair for work. They have a few flaws. They are heavy, and the top section that is supposed to allow you to look far is not clear. There is some distortion, but this is minor compared to the joy of being able to clearly see my computer screen.

Light weight and sturdy

I dearly love these glasses. I actually see better out of them than my prescription glasses. Thank you Foster Grant.
I first bought a pair of these glasses at Publix about two years ago. I have worn them almost constantly since until recently when I accidentally broke the left eye piece that holds the lens.
In my panic I quickly started looking for a replacement but in my hast I did not look for Foster Grant. I did this several times trying to get a replacement. Finally it dawned on me that none of these I had ordered were going to work. I could visualize the display stand where my husband and I tried on pair after pair of glasses. What was the brand name though? My memory went back to the old slogan," who's that behind those Foster Grant's?" Oh my, I'd hit on it! Now to find them here on Amazon. My heart was pounding as I searched. No kidding. Then what to my wondering eyes should appear but my miracle glasses! I couldn't wait to get the order placed.
I must order more before they disappear from this planet. I can't live without them. You know how you panic when you can't get your favorite soft drink, cup of coffee, favorite blue jeans, etc. We all do it.
We have our favorites and this is one of mine. I wouldn't be writing this tonight without these glasses because I simply would not be able to see to give you this review.
Be sure and get the right strength for you personally. I take a 3.5.
