Great...Need sleeves though.

Great! This is actually nicer than I expected. The case is very thick and the snaps will hold the top on great when I travel. The only bad thing is, it's difficult to get the top on without messing up my brushed. However, I am going to order some brush sleeves (those mesh things) and that should solve the problem. This still still be leaps and bound above stuffing them all in a zip-bag, and making them all flat, when I travel.

some pvc pipe, and I have used old Progresso soup cans. But this is much nicer. Classy.

I use the 2 halves to store my brushes in at home and when I need to travel its a quick flip and snap to be ready to go. Fits all my brushes easily. This did amazing when I flew to Denver, I was worried about my brushes getting smashed before I bought this, but I haven't had a worry since buying this item. If you travel a lot, or even if you don't you will not regret this purchase.
Nice quality, but a little too big?

I went with this brush holder because I was looking for a travel case for my brushes and makeup (I don't use very many brushes). This is a little too large for a travel case, especially if you're someone who likes to pack light. With the two parts clasped together, my brushes and makeup have too much room overhead (the entire top cup is basically empty) and slide around a lot when moved. That being said, the quality is great and I enjoy unclasping it and using it as 2 separate cups just to hold my makeup and brushes in at home.

This is a great brush organizer! I was using a cup for my brushes when my cat decided that she would start rubbing her face on them (hey I rub them on my face, right?) so I needed something to keep them covered. It is a bit tall so my Real Techniques brushes just barely show over the edge but it hasn't been as problematic as I thought. I was also skeptical that I could fit my larger brushes in the case because they are designed to stand on their own but I have been able to fit all my brushes easily, as shown. I haven't traveled with it yet so I don't know how well it stays closed but I'm really glad I bought this holder!
