Disappointing. The metal cut the string it was suspended by and the tone is not at all pleasant or even impressive. Its kind of more like a tink than a gong.

Bought this for a co-worker as an inside joke. You will get what you pay for. A cheap metal disk that makes a surprisingly clear and sharp sound. As long as you're not expecting a sound like you would get from a 12 foot gong, you will be pleased.
