It has strong vinyl smell inside due to its vinyl internal components. It ruins tobacco smell and makes it unpleasant to smoke.

After a couple months the glue that is used to hold in many of the pouches quit holding this thing together. As far as I can tell many parts of this aren't actually stitched together but just glued. Otherwise this thing was just what I was looking for: dedicated spot for a tamp, pouch for tobacco, plenty of pipe storage (holds 4 if they're not huge), and even room for pipe filters and cleaners. I just wish this thing held together better.

This is a great little multi-compartment pouch that both looks really nice and also provides ample space for a couple of pipes and even a couple of different tobaccos. Since it's unusual for women to smoke pipes, I mainly smoke mine at home. But this pouch nicely holds everything I need in one spot.

It is NOT real leather. It is made in China from some sort of synthetic material that looks like leather with a cloth backing. Smells like plastic or vinyl maybe. It is however a really nice pouch for the price. There is plenty of room for 4 bent or straight pipes and tobacco and tools and cleaners and pretty much whatever you want to put in it.

The outer pocket is not secure and I suggest you ignore its existence. The magnets that hold the flap down simply don't hold on well enough to safely keep anything there. However, the inside is spacious and accommodates fir pipes of varying size, plus tobacco and your pipe tool quite easily, it comes with a leather pouch for loose tobacco that is plastic lined and if very good quality. Overall I'm excitedly happy with this purchase.
