not bright as in the picture. They work though, and don't seem to chip
and hand picked to get the pieces with the better color for the top of the pot

The pieces are inconsistent, lots of them have pale color or no color on part of them, weird coating so require washing. If you don't want them to show in whatever use you have for them, it doesn't matter so much, otherwise, they have to be washed, and hand picked to get the pieces with the better color for the top of the pot, etc. I wouldn't use these as a scatter as they aren't pretty. I probably should have guessed that these would not be as nice as others I bought as these were at least ten dollars less.
This is NOT colored glass.

Color is painted on, not part of the glass. If you use it in a fire pit for color the fire will burn off the color and you end up with plain clear glass.

The 5 pound bags of red marbles and blue are of very poor quality ,they look like they have a film on them very dull in color , not colored all the way through on the red ones , if i didn't need then for a hurry up project i would have returned them.
Loved the rocks bought them to fill my Garden barrels ...

Loved the rocks bought them to fill my Garden barrels and small garden to fill around plants after laying down mesh screen so water could get through but to keep any small type weeds and such from growing in. I basically made a beautiful rock garden around my roses plants and other perennial plants in my small garden and whiskey barrels with plants in them.
