LED lights don't work
George Kaplan•August 22, 2017
The LED lights, which were the reason to upgrade from the non-LED lit version, don't work. I didn't use the device before my return rights ended, so I can't send it back as defective. Would advise anyone who buys this to test it immediately to ensure the light portion works. The lights would be hugely helpful for where I am using the booth, and it pisses me off that this key feature doesn't work.
Great for apartments, but don't get your hopes up

I have recently started taking up model building and airbrushing, and living in a crowded city makes it hard to find a good spot for outdoor painting. As the owner of a 740 sq foot apartment, spray booth is the way to go.
The portability of this thing is excellent, folding up to a medium briefcase and an exhaust pipe. It's fat and easy to set up and break down, which means it goes under my bed when I'm not painting. It's very quiet for the moderate sized fan that runs it, another welcome feature, as are the bright LEDs that install around the outer rim.
There is a downside to such affordability though. I was unaware that Master brand was a bargain brand supplier, and it shows in the user manual. Terrible English and unhelpful descriptions abound, but the pictures and some common sense make it doable. My center LED boom was DoA, but as far as serious isssues go it's a minor inconvenience as the lights are extremely bright.
They are also tinted very blue, which makes it extremely hard to tell airbrushing progress on gray/blue/green coloring. I often find myself taking pieces to the bathroom vanity lights and finding spots I missed.
It also requires Master brand filters, as the plug for the LEDs requires a jack in the filter frames.
Those problems aside, it is still an excellent and affordable booth and I'm not disappointed with my purchase, but may buy higher quality once my skill progresses and/or this one dies.

Very helpful

If you want to do any airbrushing indoors you should have some sort of ventilation system. I've used this quite a bit now, and while the fit for the top center light bar could be better (it bows downward slightly) the level of light produced, easy of setup and transportation, and effectiveness of ventilation is well worth the price tag.
Does what you expect

This is a must if you use Gunze paints on your models. The fan isn't super powerful, but will pull the laquer fumes out as long as you're spraying towards the filter. It's easy to assemble and doesn't weigh much. My only gripe is that sometimes part of the center light strip will go out, like there's a bad connection somewhere. Also, as others have stated, watch spilling laquer products on the panels as it will eat into the plastic. I highly recommend this for model builders and will be getting a second one to join with this one for larger projects.
Works really well

Works incredibly well. It's really easy to fold and store and can quickly be unfolded and ready to use in a minute. The fan provides great suction to pull paint fumes away from you and the bendable exhaust tube is really easy to attach and extend to an open window, etc. The turntable and extra filters were a nice addition. The LED lights are just OK. They are a bit finicky to install and there's no place to store them when you fold the spray box into portable mode. The LED lights cast an unnatural glow and seem to just create a glare on your subject, rather than provide a well lighted setting. Do they add light, sure, but I generally just use the lights in the room where I'm painting. Overall, this was a great purchase
