Worked great and then bent.

Worked for a few weeks and then bent for whatever reason. The only thing I can think of is that my turkey (maybe 40lbs at the time) jumped up onto the open door, and caused the bend. The actuator was pushing straight down, going up over a wall and pulling the door up at an angle (think upside down U of cable), with nothing to catch on anywhere remotely close, everything moved freely.
Was lifting a 15 lb door, and that's being very, VERY generous on it's weight.
Loved it while it was working, but I'm not about to replace it given my experience.
