I have a 14-1/2 year old Boston Terrier who has been my faithful sidekick and companion since he was 8 weeks old. His whole life we have fed him Purina wet dog food and lots of treats - but mostly the lower cost treats. He seemed to like them well enough, so I thought we were doing the right thing. Then one day in late 2017 I saw these jerky strips treats, and even though they were much more expensive that the ones we normally buy, I figured my little guy is getting old and deserves some extra "spoiling". What started with him relatively calmly taking these from my hand has warped into my little guy turning into a hungry beast ready to rip my arms and face off in order to get the treat faster! It is adorable, and I'm sure you won't be surprised to hear that we now buy every single variation of these and no longer waste time or money on the "cheapies". Cute story to demonstrate just how much my little guy loves these...My hubby and I have never had a problem leaving our pooch at home alone for short or long periods. He is litter trained and pretty much takes care of himself. All that changed a couple of months ago when we arrived home to find an empty bag of these, with the front of the plastic bag looking like it was ripped open by Godzilla himself. Apparently our little dude loves these so much that he can no longer be trusted at home by himself unless we put all of these in a high-up cupboard! Anyway, I love it that my little beast loves these so much and we will no doubt keep a constant supply at home so that he never runs out again. After all, if I run out, who knows if he will go ahead and rip my arms and face off in revenge! LOL

i was expecting these to be soft, cause you know, the title.....nope. theyre crunchy and hard. that aside, my dog loves them.....but she also eats poop. you just cant go wrong with science diet. its a good brand with tons of protein and good fats. my vet sells this! just for a million dollars more. i trust my vet but looked in to the nutritional info of these treats and they stacked up. (feed your dog at least 25% protein and 10% fat in their food. fats are the most expensive ingredient so if its high in fat, its probably a good food.) do not use this as a supplement for your dogs food.

Dog enjoys these things and my families look for the healthier options. My dog is getting a bit older and a little bit chunky. Wanted something that didn't have all the extra junk into the snacks. Just think healthy options should cost as much. Good things for you should be cheaper then things that are made from a long list of ingredients I cannot pronounce

These crunchy fruity snacks are NOT what I thought they were! Have always given my dog these treats and when I ordered them this last time they were in a different packaging and "appeared" to be the same as I was used to. However, my dog is very sick right now and appears to have been poisoned by this stuff. In very small print on the package it states that it was made in the USA with IMPORTED INGREDIENTS! That is NOT what I expected from Science Diet. I have always been pleased with their products and my dog had done fine eating them before. Now you can't get the treats (of any kind) in stores - You have to order them online. I am very upset over this and will change to another brand immediately!!!

Great product for maintaining healthy dog weight. However, when they changed the packaging, the product was temporarily unavailable. In fairness, it was shipped before Amazon said it would be ready to. The major disappointment is that the new packaging is 8 ounces, while the previous package weighed 9 ounces. It also seems more expensive than previously.
