Space Saver in the Closet

These hangers are awesome. I've converted my whole closet over to these hangers and they give me so much more space. The velvet can be a bit of a pain for certain things (like t-shirts) to put on and get off the hangers, but I think I may be one of the few people that actually hang up my t-shirts anyway. They make it easy to hang everything from spagetthi straps and tanks to sweaters. Also, I think these are comparable in price to a pack of plastic hangers from Target, so definitely worth it!
This is not a hanger you can pull your shirt off easily while it's still on the rod

These are exactly as advertised. They work as expected, clothes cling as they should. Keep in mind, cloths cling to these hangers, so you do have to take the hanger off the rod to then take your shirt off the hanger. This is not a hanger you can pull your shirt off easily while it's still on the rod. If you're use to pulling shirts off of smooth plastic hangers, you may find these difficult to get use to. My husband loves these. I don't care for them at all, it's a pain to hang up his shirts now due to the clinging.
Great skinny hangers for a decent price

These hangers are skinny. The hanger hooks do swivel. The Amazon price is reasonable. I like the ivory color. Previously I had some black ones, but I always had trouble finding the right shirt visually with the black ones. These ivory ones just disappear visually. I have switched out all my clothes to these new, skinnier hangers. They are especially good for woven cottons, silk or slippery synthetics. They for fine even for heavier garments like corduroy "big shirts". I am even going to try them for heavy coats - maybe 2 or three per coat, zip-tied together.
(Note - I also had purchased for my multiple t-shirts & ls knits the more pricey brand for with the "S-shape" or "U-slide" top:50 pc Premium Quality Easy-On Clothes Hangers - Grey with Dark Blue Non-Slip Pads. I am happy with that product also.)
My decision was to buy lots and LOTS of these skinny hangers. Ironically, two weeks after I bought these velvet hangers, I found them on sale at Aldi for only $12 dollars. Humph!. I bought them anyway. Putting clothes away is now much easier, and I have plenty of backups in case they break. Unless you are a minimalist and have a tiny wardrobe, get as many as you can.

I have heard that huggable hangers are "life changing", and I don't know if I would go that far, but these are definitely worth buying. Here is why I like these:
-No fuzz residue on clothes. A lot of reviews for other brands had this complaint, but I have not had any issues even when using these white hangers with black clothes.
- they are strong enough to hang wet clothes on. I hang dry most of my work clothes and didn't want the hassle of transferring hangers, so these are great. Not a single one has broken yet. I would avoid bulky sweatshirts, but i have hung sweaters and they were fine.
- they really do save space in your closet
- the notch is great for my camisoles but doesn't cause indentations in my other clothes. No more shoulder dents like my plastic hangers!
- clothes do not slide off. Women's clothes have soft materials with more open necklines which usually equals stuff falling off onto the closet floor, but no more. It's true that you can't yank tops off if you are in a rush, but I find it's not that hard to take the hanger off, plus it keeps the closet more organized when I put the empty hangers at the end of the row.

I have a lot of strappy clothes, or clothes with a smooth texture that slip right off plastic hangers. These seemed like a much more cost effective alternative to the expensive sets I kept seeing at the container store and places like that.
Pros:
- Great non-slip hanger
- Slim so they don't take up a lot of extra space
Cons:
- Cat hair and lint magnet
