Purchasing this couch has been an... interesting journey, to say the least. As you can see from the picture, I ordered this couch about a month ago, yet I only have half of a couch currently. The shipping company they use sent me the wrong couch in the second box, so I don't have the chaise part of my couch, and I have 1/3 boxes of someone else's couch (I'm sure they're happy about that one, too). The delivery company kept stressing 100 times over on how they are only 'curbside delivery' because their company's employees don't have insurance, and living by myself as a 25 y.o. female in a new area not knowing a single person here to help, and being on the top floor in a high-rise condominium, that wasn't too fun. I did half expect that though, since I knew it was being shipped via normal shipping; I just thought I'd include that bit in there for people who can't just drag the massive boxes straight into their home. Now, I have someone else's couch that I am NOT about to take back down and have to take the new box back up again on my own, so I guess they're going to either get their employees some insurance or take their chances because #notmyproblem... So, now I am waiting on them to work something out for pickup and redelivery of my second box.
So, on to the couch itself, based on what pieces I have. The color is nice. I was worried that the 'off-white' wouldn't be ideal but it's VERY close to a white shade so that's good. The faux leather is soft but not too soft to where it would be easily tearable. Sitting on the couch, it is NOT comfortable- which I didn't expect it to be, but it's actually EXTREMELY uncomfortable. You can feel the frame constantly digging into your back and under your legs, no matter how you sit. It forces you to sit straight up because it's so firm with such little support; laying down on it isn't so bad because you distribute your body enough to where it doesn't dig into you as much. But overall, I'm happy with the way it LOOKS, which was what I wanted, so at least it's got that going for it...
Assembly wasn't too bad; all you do is attach the legs and the back headrests, which just slide right into place with no tools. The legs have one main screw with 4 small screws surrounding it. I had trouble finding pre-drilled holes for the small screws, if there were any, so I gave up on the little screws for now until I get the rest of my couch.
So, the 2 stars here are for the basic looks of the sofa. It looks good, but is very uncomfortable for every day use and they seriously should consider another shipping company... Because this whole ordeal has been an absolute mess and I will likely never order a large piece of furniture online ever again due to this stressful experience. I think I should also mention (since these ratings are for the couch which is sold by multiple merchants) that I purchased this couch from Furniture Mania, who use RoadRunner as their shipping company. I really hope they can get this worked out soon so that I can finally get my couch and never have to worry about this mess ever again..!

Update: I finally received the other half of my couch (picture added). My review still stands, mostly. This part of the sectional feels like you're sitting up against a hard wood plank; there's no cushioning at all. I have to sit against a pillow for it to be even remotely comfortable. The couch looks beautiful, but if you plan to use it everyday, I don't know if I could recommend it... I've sat on more comfortable futons than this sofa - just some things to consider when making your purchasing decisions!

After numerous online searches, checking all reviews, and visiting local stores with a similar product, I decided to purchase my Poundex sofa via HomeGoods Mania, an Amazon seller. I truly believed that I did all of the necessary research before purchasing this sofa. Well, after a mere 4+ months a portion of the frame actually broke. It is a section where the rear-left leg is mounted to a block, which is stapled to the frame. Yes, I said stapled! Actually, the entire frame of the sofa appears to be stapled... I decided to locate a reputable furniture repair service to evaluate the issue and determine corrective action.

As you can see from the attached photos, the wood used for the frame only appears to be a couple of grades above plywood. Let's be clear, for this price point, I was not expecting a high-end product but I certainly did not anticipate receiving a "piece of crap" covered in fabric. I am truly, truly disappointed with this product!. I am sharing these photos so each person contemplating this purchase has the opportunity to see EXACTLY what they are getting. For the record, I do not have small or teenage children, pets or anyone who is extraordinarily large in my household. I am only adding this information to proactively address, and refute, any possibility that the damage was caused by anyone in my home, due to negligence and/or misuse. That is absolutely NOT the case; the product is just substandard...

NOTE: The four (4) holes, seen in the square block of wood, are for the screws needed to mount the metal leg.

In addition to the substandard frame, the sofa was delivered with a small puncture in the chaise (see photo). Third, the sofa is supposed to be a sectional and should have included some type of bracket to fasten the two pieces together"¦no such luck. There was no fastener included with the delivery, and there is nothing on the bottom of these sofas to indicate there should be a fastener/bracket. Last, when you order large items i.e. furniture, transportation companies typically delivery curbside. Also, if you want to return these items, be certain that you read the shipper's guidelines for merchandise returns. There is a great chance that you will be charged a restocking fee, and return shipping charges may apply. Something to keep in mind when making a decision to purchase furniture online"¦

Moral of "MY" story:

1) You really do get what you pay for.
2) Avoid purchasing furniture online, if at all possible!
3) Research, research and RESEARCH again before buying.
4) Paying more for true quality, upfront, may hurt a little but it will feel really good end the end!!!

On the upside, the repair service was awesome! My sofa is no longer "posted" up against the wall.

Let's just start with how fast the shipping was! I order it on Jan 18, the next day they shipped the couch to me, and I was expecting it between Jan 25th - February 9. So I got a call Jan 25, inform me that couch is been delivered to IL, and wanted to schedule an appointment. They could get it to me Jan 27, just a week and 2 days after I order it, but I couldn't due to my work schedule. So today I got it. Delivery was great, no damage was made to my couch. We opened it and it's beautiful. The color is not Snow White, but not creme either!! So it's not standing out of my Snow White bed. It is very easy to as amble and the look is great, very luxury and please to look at it and sit on it. To my design it fits just great. I am so happy with the purchase. It's not expensive but the service and the quality is 5/5!!! I would suggest my friends this company and this couch! Will look out for the products from you guys! Thank you!!!!

I ONLY HAD THIS SOFA FOR FEW MONTHS AND PLEASE SEE THIS KIND OF QUALITY DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY FOR THIS.

It is a very beautiful couch. Very very good buy. It's not pure white it is off white/ivory. I gave it 4 stars because you need to be careful when wearing jeans. I sat down in jeans and stained it blue and I cannot get the stain out.
