I ordered this dress to wear to a formal wedding. When I tried it on, I realized it had lots of beads and sparkle, and maybe too much for just a wedding guest. It would work for a very formal affair or for Mother of the Bride, but it was too fancy for my event.

The eggplant color is so pretty. It's a dark purplish maroon color. I ordered up a size so I could sit and dance comfortably at my son's wedding. I'm 5ft 4in and usually a size 18. Im a chunky hour glass shape. The 20 fits perfectly! The jacket fabric is a little bit scratchy (nothing I can't tolerate for one evening) but the dress is lined with a soft, super stretchy lining and it drapes very comfortably. The sequin design adds a touch of elegance so you feel like your wearing a comfy sundress but "kicked up a notch". For a dress that will only be worn once or twice, and costs less than $150, you will be happy with this purchase! The gemstones are glued on so you must hand wash it. If you return it. I do not think they will refund the $16 shipping fee. I do not regret this purchase!!
