terrapin Ridge Farms Jalapeno hot pepper jam, One of the best things I have ever tried. Didn't know what to do with it at first (it was a gift). My traditional breakfast is peanut butter toast w/bacon & coffee. I added this on top of the peanut butter & OMG, so delic. I quit buying pricey bacon & prefer the jam, can't be without it. My cupboard is stock piled. I will say, I have gotten from various sources and occasionally it doesn't seem to have as much flavor as others. Maybe it's just me. I will never be without. This is my daily fix

I bought this as a present for my brother and, of course, had to sneak a taste. It's sweet and smokey and tastes just like... barbecue sauce. Not really meaty whatsoever. I didn't really get a lot of bacon flavor. Oh, well. I had originally considered buying one for myself and I'm actually glad I didn't. Again, it doesn't taste bad, not terribly spicy, just generic BBQ flavor.

I wanted this to use as a baste for chicken breasts and it was perfect. Just the right touch of sweet and spice. It was so good I will be getting more. I just bake the chicken for about 40 minutes and then baste with the bacon jam and cook 15-20 minutes more. Perfection!

i put it on my burger for lunch to day and seriously considered ordering another burger just so could have more - LOL.
i also have to admit i DID dip my spoon in the jar and eat about 1/2 teaspoon all by itself.
just ordered a 6-pack, going to share with my friends.
i have no doubt this would be AWESOME on baked Brie with crackers (which we normally serve with a sweet pepper jelly)
