They do exactly what they say, hiding the unsightly screws on my license plate holder. You insert the screws into the cap, gently drill/screw them on nice and tight, then close the cover until you hear the click. You get a nice, finished look for your plate frame and also help protect your hardware from the elements. They are NOT theft deterrent, so if you are concerned about theft, make sure you pair these with security screws.
