Just a bag

The pull of the zipper broke off one of the zippers after the first use. I also saw this bag at Buy Buy Baby after in bought it. I thought it was an exclusive bag. Nothing special for me. The compartment doesn't open up flat where the pump is like other bags do so you have to dig in to press the buttons on your pump.
Awkward for long work days.

It's just ok. Definitely better than anything else I've tried but I don't get why they show using one of the cooler compartments to carry the pump? I'm gone 10 hours a day sometimes for work and I need the cooler compartments for milk and pump parts. I use The smaller cooler pocket for bottles. The other one I use with an ice pack and keep my flanges in it. So this means my pump goes in the big top compartment and makes the bag all top heavy and awkward. I need to keep the bottles as cold as possible and I need to keep my pump parts cold since washing them every time I pump isn't feasible at work or while on the road.
This is a working mom must have!

I returned to work about a month ago after having my daughter and I am determined to continue breastfeeding/pumping for at least the 1st year. (I know that is a tall order!) I found myself carrying like 3 bags: 1 for my pump, one for my flanges and storage cups, then a little lunch pal to keep the milk fresh. It was very frustrating and rather difficult lugging all 3 bags PLUS my purse and my own lunch into work every day. I had to attend a conference a few days ago and thought to myself how the heck am I going to bring all these bags with me and carry them throughout the day. The thought of that was just so discouraging. So, I went on amazon searching for just a tote bag that was large enough to put all my stuff in. I somehow stumbled upon this breast pump bag (which I had no idea existed). I ordered one over the weekend and got it just in time for my conference. Let me tell you, it was so refreshing to just carry around ONE bag and still have everything I needed. I am so glad i found this bag early on (my little one is 2 months old). This bag will definitely make my goal of 1 year of breastfeeding a little easier!!

I am a huge fan of this bag. The compartments are intuitively designed, and I am able to fit a number of personal items in addition to my Medela Pump in Style Advanced breast pump and my Medela cooler. When filled, it is a large bag. In a good way, it reminds me of a really stylish bowling ball bag by its shape and size. Despite its size, I do commute with it on a major subway line every day, placing the bag at my feet. I've gotten a few compliments on the gray pattern, and the bag is well-made.
Why four stars? The straps. I didn't use the long shoulder strap after the first day, as it cut into my shoulder pretty badly. The size of this bag requires a much sturdier shoulder strap to handle the weight that I'm carrying. I ended up hiking up the two smaller side straps over my shoulder, which is a little awkward/cumbersome, but gets the job done.
I will continue to utilize this bag while pumping at work and would buy it again. I hope the strap situation works out better for others!

I never write reviews, but the personal customer service I experienced with Sarah Wells is unmatched. Sarah reached out to me via e-mail after the purchase of my gray Lizzy bag and matching Pumparoo, personally thanking me and encouraging me to contact her with any feedback or concerns. I've used the Lizzy and Pumparoo for about 3 months now and absolutely love them! Pumping at work would be so much more difficult without them. It's such a great set up; I can't think of anything to improve upon. I did, however, contact Sarah with a minor issue with some spots of the liner of the bag that had a whitish discoloration after a few months of use. She promptly apologized and offered to send me a replacement bag! Sarah is running a great business with excellent products and a personal touch that is unparalleled! Thank you, Sarah!
