Failed in under 2 weeks. Headphones were plugged in and unplugged less than 10 times. My headphone plug doesn't "stick" into the extension's jack, it just kinda pushes in. If I hold pressure on it, I can get full sound. Not gonna work for me. (Tested the headphones on multiple other devices. The problem is the extension chord, not my headphones.)

Amazon says this item is ineligible for return. Hmm, wonder why.

I dunno, maybe I just got a lemon.

EDIT: They sent me a replacement a few days after this original review without me even asking. I know it's basic review-monitoring, but it worked. I'm upping from 1 to 3 stars.

It does what it's supposed to. I've got it plugged in to a mic/aud splitter on one end which is plugged into the front ports on my PC case (Thermaltake Core P5), with the other end plugged in to a pair of over-ear headphones that double as a headset. My name brand expensive USB headset (which will go unnamed) wasn't putting out a great enough volume level for me, and the sound was flat and didn't use any of the software mods that the audio ports use. Problem solved. Sure, it's wired, but it works, and the audio sounds great. I have my cables tied off to the PC case with zips, so there will never be any stress on the connectors at the case. As for the female connector, daily I plug/unplug/replug my headset from it to plug in to my phone when I get a call, and after dozens of repeated disconnect/connect actions, the female connector is holding up just fine. Overall, it works perfectly and, as far as I can tell, the audio sounds the way it should using this cable.

I have the male to female type.
I have had it and have been suing it daily for the past month, so I cannot verify the cable's long-range durability. But it has worked for me every time with no problems whatsoever.
It seems durable and well-made.
I gave 4 stars instead of 5, not because of any defect, but because I prefer a flexible cable (not the coiled ones that constantly tangle themselves up)--and this cable is a bit stiff, making it a bit unwieldy as well. For example, when I bend it, it tends to retain the bent shape. On the other hand, I keep it coiled up when I don't need all 12 feet of its length, and it fights me on that--it wants to spring out of any coil I try to force it into (I use a piece of velcro ribbon to hold it in the coil).
Otherwise, good service. Good packaging. The cable came as predicted and on time.
Recommended for anyone who doesn't mind a cable with stiffness to it.

I love to enjoy surround sound when watching movies and tv shows. Unfortunately, I also live with roommates who don't want to hear my audio blaring through the house. I turned to the Zeskit braided 12 ft. 3.5mm extenstion cable to resolve this issue. It's is constructed from high quality nylon braided cable, and is quite durable. I was easily able to plug in my 3.5mm surround sound headphones into the cable to enjoy as much sound as I like without disturbing anyone else around me. I have had no issues so far with the cable, and the 12 feet is more than enough length to use my headphones anywhere in my room without hassle. The price is awesome as well, very happy with my purchase.

The usage assumed in this review is headphone extension or headphone jack for headphones with a 3.5 male plug.
The cable to my original Superlux cans, while nice, finally died. I am very glad I have purchased this one. So far, it is a GREAT cable wnd wish that my guitar was built in such a rugged fashion. I often rolled over my other cable in my office chair which lead to its demise. However, the stiff nature of this cable having a type of thick plastic shroud, solid connector barrels, allow for the cable to move with me rather than curl up on the floor, allowing it to get rolled over. This would not be my first choice however, for a phone on the go. It is a bit too stiff and too lengthy to function for most people wanting to run or exercise. This Cable excels in those who sit and wear headphones all day and often need to move around their office or room without taking their cans on and off. It also excells at the pro who needs the durability and length. At around the $10 mark, this cable is a HELL of a deal. The only way that this could be better, is if it utilized nutrik or switchcraft jacks. For that option I would gladly pay $15 for this cable.
