I looked up reviews of matcha online (google search) and this was a "Best Buy". The review said the founder was a coffee guy who went to Japan and started this company. I am usually careful to read labels. But I didn't because of the detailed review. My mistake. In the pics, it clearly reads PRODUCT OF CHINA. That's why the price is lower!!! I'll be buying a different brand next time.
