The product itself is 5 star but had to return the item for a second time. The first time I will accept the blame because I used the cart vin # to verify the year to order and apparently the cart was remanufactured in 2011 and a new vin # was issued from Club Car but the cart is actually a 2007. Lesson learned by me and I feel slighted that I actually bought a 2007 cart and not a 2011. Oh well....so I ordered the dash to fit 04-08 club car precedents and the exact same dash came in the box but the box was clearly marked 04-08. As you can see in the photo the issue is the gap above the steering column...2008 and above club car precedents have a higher steering column collar to fill this gap. Subtracting 2 stars for wrong product in correct box.

Nice finish but not what I thought I was getting

Nice finish but not what I thought I was getting. It's not a dull black like the rest of the plastic on the cart. It's a shinny somewhat silver finish with like dots in it.. Hard to describe but it looks nice. I'll try to put up a photo up close. Installed with 1 torx in 5 minutes. It does lock but don't think it's safe.. I just think out of sight out of mind. Nice add on to the buggy.

The lock nut for the lock is plastic and the first time I opened the locked compartment the nut stripped out. The rest of the unit looks good.
