PEAK Atlas Atlas IT (DCA Pro) ADVANCED SEMICONDUCTOR ANALYZER with Curve Tracing

Key features
- •Supports all the components that the popular Peak Atlas DCA55 supports, but adds plenty more.
- •can be used stand-alone or connected to a PC. Either way, the DCA Pro will automatically identify the component type, identify the pinout and also measure a range of component parameters such as transistor gain, leakage, MOSFET and IGBT threshold voltages, pn characteristics and much more.
- •When connected to a PC using the supplied USB cable, a range of low current curve-tracing functions can be performed.
- •USB communications, PC Software and an enhanced component identification library.

Great value, way more pro's than cons.

Awesome little unit and bang for the buck. Only downside is limits on test voltages / current. This is not for high power semiconductor testing, however for low power applications it's great and within a few weeks of owning it I feel like it was well worth the money. The USB function worked without any issues or headaches with Windows 10. I bought the SOT23 adapter and it works well in conjunction with the unit. The only thing I also don't like, is the permanently soldered test leads. Clip or snap in leads like standard meters would be much better so that you could use different sizes and configurations.
the computer interface is easy to use and understand
Amazon Customer•February 13, 2018
Very helpful tool for troubleshooting or prototyping, the computer interface is easy to use and understand, a bit slow but great for the fact that you can save the data for a later comparison or analysis. For sure it is not a production tool or R&D equipment, but for a hobbyist it is a great aide at an affordable price. I bought it in order to restore some old audio equipment I have and it looks like it will gonna do a great job. A very useful improvement to this model was the 1 AAA battery that powers up the device instead a special one like in other models. Another great feature is the MUTE function (press the ON button for few seconds while the device is powered up) that is stored even when the device is going to Stand-By. The seller (AnaTech Instruments), has a great customer service, fast, knowledgeable and reliable. I would buy again from this seller anytime.
Wonderful field tester for semiconductors.

This is a fabulous semiconductor field tester. No it won't replace a full-out curve tracer, but it does cover what I need to know 99% of the time whilke repairing electronic items in the field.
Great tool

Great product for testing semiconductors. The curve tracer function is great for small signal transistors. Small size and clear readout make it my first choice for validating serviceability of drawer stored components.
Does what it says on the proverbial tin

Not much to add to the other glowing reviews of the DCA75 Pro -- it's simply a great piece of gear. I've kept its predecessor DCA55 model in a drawer for years, pulling it out every so often to identify and check various semiconductors. I wasn't sure at first if the DCA75 was worth the upgrade... but I am now, having played with it for a few hours. Not only can the Pro test various parts like IGBTs that the DCA55 didn't recognize, but the "curve tracer" feature is cleanly implemented, easy to use and understand, and will definitely come in handy. Major T&M vendors could learn a lot from PEAK's well-crafted Windows software.
The quality of the spring-clip grabbers was a weak point with the DCA55, but they seem to have been improved in this model. The new LCD offers more details as well as better readability at wide viewing angles. So far, the only criticism I could offer would be directed at the obnoxious piezo buzzer that starts chirping at you immediately during your first power-up cycle. It's not clear who would want it turned on, but in any event, ten seconds with the nicely-organized, informative user's guide was all it took to learn how to turn it off. No harm, no foul.
The DCA55 was handy to keep around in a drawer, but the DCA75 has earned a full-time spot on my workbench. Highly recommended.
