Works great - 4 level dimmer!

Some better instructions would be nice, but there are enough guides from others here in the reviews to send you on your way.
Finally found one that worked as advertised

Worked great in table lamp with 23 Watt LED Dimmable bulb. Only negative is their are no wiring instructions, but if you have any A/C wiring experience it is not hard to figure out. Red to hot input from wall plug, Blue to hot lamp output to bulb, blacks to neutral inputs (does not matter which black wire goes to which neutral) and outputs and Yellow to metal rod. This is the 3rd dimmer I tried. The others that claimed to work with LED bulbs either worked for a few seconds before failing or failed immediately. Just make sure you only use Dimmable bulbs. The 3-way LED bulbs will not work and will likely cause the dimmer to fail. They say it is a 4-way dimmer but really it is 3-way plus off. Tap once for low, tap again for medium, tap a third time for high and tap a forth time for off. I gave this 4 stars because there were no wiring instructions but otherwise the product is excellent
They look really nice and a great deal for the money

I ordered two of these to convert two lamps I bought here on Amazon to touch lamps. You can use the following instructions to convert most any lamp that has a metal base, but the ones I bought are the "ORE International 6117IV 27-Inch 60-Watt Ceramic Table Lamp, Ivory" which sell for a whopping $25 each. They look really nice and a great deal for the money. With the addition of these touch controllers they are even nicer. The installation is fast and easy, but instructions are sadly lacking, so here is how to do it:

First, you will need some twist-on connectors to join the wires, something like these here on Amazon: Gardner Bender 25-002 WireGard Screw-On Electrical Wire Connectors, Tough Flame-Retardant, Copper-Copper Connections, 22-16 Wire Gauge (AWG), Wire Nut, 25 Pk., Blue

Of course, you only need 4 of these and you can get them at your local hardware store in smaller quantities. Don't just twist the wires together and tape them. Use these or something similar to connect the wires together.

Take off the felt bottom of the lamp and cut the wire about 4 inches from the opening. Look at the wire: only one conductor will have some writing on it printed on the insulation. Looking at which side has the writing, trace that back to the A/C plug and see which of the wires goes to the narrow side of the plug, the other one is wider. Make a note of this. The narrow one on the A/C plug is considered to be the "hot" lead and the fatter one is "neutral", and now you know which wire is which. Using a small wrench or pliers, remove the hex nut on the long bolt that runs through the lamp and holds it all together. Slide the connector from the YELLOW wire on the controller onto this bolt and put the hex nut back on. Tighten the whole thing back up. Now, strip the insulation off of all the lamp wires and connect the wire from the narrow side of the plug, coming into the lamp, to the RED wire on the controller. Connect the other one to one of the two BLACK wires. Next, connect the BLUE wire on the controller to the "hot" lead going up to the lamp bulb. Again, you can tell which one that is by looking at the writing that you noted earlier, whatever traced to the narrow side of the plug. Lastly, take the other wire going up to the bulb and connect that to the other BLACK wire on the controller. Your wiring is now done. Tuck the entire bundle back up into the base and put the felt bottom back on.

IMPORTANT: The lamps I used are designed for a 3-way bulb. The switch is NOT designed for a 3-way bulb. If your lamp is a 3-way you MUST FIRST figure out which setting turns on a standard bulb. Put a regular bulb in it and turn the switch until it turns on. This is the setting you must use to convert the lamp, and you must use a standard 1-way bulb. LED bulbs seem to work fine.. You could glue the switch in place or, like I did, unscrew the switch knob so you won't accidentally change it's position. Good luck!
Good value

The dimensions fit the space available in my lamp base so I gave it a try. Works great so far. The lack of instructions is a problem, but it was instantly resolved by the photo posted by A. Gator in the questions section. The switch I removed had 4 wires - this product has 5. Much of the confusion arises from the fact that the 2 black wires on the new switch attach to the white (common) wires on your lamp. I have included a photo of my successful installation showing the correct wiring.
This one seems much better than the module I had in the lamp before

I used this to replace a module in my lamp that got burned out by a close lightning strike. This one seems much better than the module I had in the lamp before, this one works well with my LED bulbs (no flickering). Don't be fooled by the description that says 4-way dimmer, this is what most would call a 3-way dimmer, OFF-LOW-MEDIUM-FULL, which is what I would expect for a touch light. No instructions come with it, refer to the instructions given in the description.
