Finally, real food in a pack. Epic Bars are great source of protein and the Bison Bars with Cranberry at AIP friendly. You can read of the ingredients (No more than 6 or 7). Isn't it nice to know, pronounce and enjoy what you're eating at the same time?!

I order the lamb bars by the case on a regular basis and I really like them! I have a lot of food sensitivities and follow a paleo diet for health reasons and these bars are one my few options that are gluten/soy free and made with high quality meat and other ingredients. The texture IS different to jerky but if you don't expect it to be jerky then it's great! I eyed these at the store for a long time and It def took me a while to get used to the idea of a "meat bar," but when I did I was hooked! Def recommend trying these, esp if you are following a paleo/low carb diet and want sustainably/humanely raised meats. Plus the guys who run the company are super helpful and enthusiastic about their products!
Just stick with the bison.

I bought this to try them all out, not really wanting any of them than the bison. That was a terrible mistake. I should have just bought the bison! Even the texture of the bison was a bit odd, but it did not initiate the gag reflux that the other 3 meats did. For me, it wasn't the taste that was so bad, but the texture. It makes me a bit nauseous just thinking about it to write this review. And I am NOT a picky eater by any means, but Turkey should never crumble in your mouth like stale bread when you eat it. This was an experience I will never forget, or do again.

I got these for times during my whole 30 when I'm pinched for a snack. I have to say that iv been through a range of "interesting" paleo food options but this one is quite unique. I can't see ever really enjoying them, as the texture is just awful. Honestly one of the nastiest things iv tried, but in emergency I guess they will have to do. Won't be ordering more though..

While I appreciated the Beef and Bison bars, I would not get the Lamb or Turkey again. Not that the lamb or turkey were bad, but I prefer beef and bison. Nice fruity flavors to keep the meat from being too overpowering. To me this was basically really fancy thick cut beef jerky. If you're a fan of beef jerky you'll enjoy EPIC bars.
