I buy one of these bulbs every 12-15 months. It keeps my picture on my TV look fantastic when I bought it about 10 years ago. Very easy to install.

Got the new light bulb in the tv on April 10 2022 and looked great. Nice and bright. June 14 2022 tv picture is getting dark, very difficult to watch tv. Well I got two months out of it and can't send it back by Amazon policy. Time to order another one with 3 year warranty from someone else.

Our 3-1/2 year old Mitsubishi WD-73C12 picture got darker and darker, until it went black and the status light turned "red". I ordered this lamp from Amazon and it arrived 2 days later.
The new lamp assembly looks and fits exactly like the original, and works great.
I first tried ordering an OEM lamp from Mitsubishi. After they added shipping and handling charges the total was $144. Then Mitsubishi rejected my credit card. So I bought the Amazon lamp. It has only been in operation for two days, so I can't yet say how long it will last. But right now I am completely satisfied.

Update:. This lamp worked for over 3 years.

My original lamp went out just short of 8 years of use! I needed a replacement & bought this one. I'm not too thrilled with the packaging as it came loose, surrounded by foam, without any plastic bag(s). Hard to tell if it's been touched by bare hands/fingers or not. I installed this lamp in my TV & it's as good as new, had to adjust my brightness & contrast settings again. It's working so far, hopefully I'll get many years of use & it won't fail prematurely.

This looks good in my wd-73742. As bright as the original to say the least. Only issue I've had is the first one was causing a strobe light effect quite often. It'd rarely go longer than a minute without an occurrence. The second bulb has been much better, but every so often still has a minor strobe light effect. I've submitted an exchange request and hopefully the third will be ok. I'm rating it 4/5 because the second bulb is only occasionally acting up and outside of that, the lighting is fantastic. I feel that if the manufacturer packed the bulbs better in their boxes, they'd be fine and there would be no strobing issues. Shipping box was packed well but the bulb itself is just wrapped in plastic and set in a box.
