We got the small one as it was the only one that would fit where we needed it to go. With the hinges, it's really 20 inches across. We had to mount a board under the cabinet. We needed some help during installation and Susan answered our call directly and was very responsive. It was nice to deal with a small company!

I absolutely love the concept. It was easy to be put up, actually hides all the knives. My only downside is, I have more knives than it has room for.
