This rim is the best I've seen so far, but it isn't shatterproof. My 10 year old 80 pound slams and hangs on the rim and loved it, but it didn't last. Had it for a few months and the backboard cracked so now it's useless. Bought another brand sklz pro mini hoop but it is cheap in comparison so still not satisfied with either product. Wish I could return for product defect but may be too late. Would recommend if it lasted longer or if they replaced it. Will need to contact company to see what their guarantee covers.

One of the best door hoops out there. Easy to install when following the manual correctly. Mounts over most doors easily. Does not cause any damage to the door even after a long period of usage. However, I advise kids or adults not to hang on the rim even though it could withstand the pressure. It is one of the most heavy duty door hoops out there. In some doors, it could wobble and cause a lot of noise because it does not fit properly.

I bought this hoop and April and it is OUTSTANDING! But after a month it started to sound like creaking and cracking sound after a release of the rim that seems to come from the backboard. And since then I couldn't fix it. Also I use my Spalding Slam Jam mini hoop wrench to assemble it, but I lost the wrench so now I have a creaking mini hoop with loose bolt from the rim. I don't know what to do, to not use it anymore or to keep using. Although this has happened, this mini hoop is real durable but I would aware that this could happen to you or it just happened to mine.
