Lock is great, keys are awful

Purchased this lock to secure our bikes on the bike rack during our vacation. I don't have any problem with the lock itself. It is quite thick, and it would definitely protect against the average opportunistic, would-be thief. My issue is with the keys. The stem of the key is metal, but it does not extend very far into the portion you grasp to use it. Therefore, with minimal pressure, the stem breaks out of the plastic portion. This happened on both of our keys before we even left for our trip. Although the stem is still usable, there is no way to attach it to a key ring or anything else, so it will most certainly get lost before long. Too bad the keys are so cheaply made, because the lock itself is quite nice.

My brother pruchased me a three wheel bicycle and I go riding with my great grandchildren. We carry our water, snacks and everything in the back of my bike. When going to the park we lock our bikes and I am very comfortable about not being around the bike knowing it will be safe with this lock. It is more then I expected.

Perfectly secured 5'x8' UHaul trailer to tow hitch

You can lock the back door of this popular UHaul trailer but you cannot lock it (easily) to the vehicle. However, this cable lock worked perfectly, threading it through the handle on the trailer and through the hitch where the safety chains attach. We stayed at motels two nights during our move and slept well knowing that would-be thieves would see the cable lock and move along.
