Exact replacement for old IH Cub tractor
Moderate quality product with some poor aspects.

Out of the box, this item looked like a good replacement, although the fittings and valve differ some. The valve lever is a petcock style which is okay, but it seems flimsy. The inner ports in the upper portion are smaller than my original unit and there was debris in the area. I had to re-align and re-seat the glass bowl. It fits the tank okay and doesn't leak, although I used pipe thread sealant as a precaution. I also sealed the fittings that thread into the upper part. I had to replace the outlet fittings though. I formed a new section of 5/16" metal fuel line, but it would not seat and seal. It appears the inner compression fitting is not machined properly. I replaced it with a flare-nut fitting setup. The bowl assembly does not seem to flow as fast, possibly due to the smaller ports in the upper portion. So far the flow rate seems okay for the tractor, although I have not pushed it hard yet.
Overall for the price, it is a decent product, and it's nice to still be able to get one after 50+ years. Like much stuff made in a certain large Asian country though, it can look good, but the fit tolerances, and quality of materials can be poor.
