Got this for my dad that is unable to use somme of his fingers due to an electrocution accident. He loves to fish and had been able to spool hos rods with no problems now. No more frustration for him, he is now asking all of us kids if we need or rods respooled lol. I highly recommend!!!

I have spooled 3 reels, the first 2 were a little clumsy to get set up. The last one was a bait cast reel and was easier to work with. The instructions could be much clearer, otherwise, it works very well and will get better with practice. Some line spools are or seem to be softer plastic so the tension can be tricky too much will melt and enlarge the spool opening too little and the line is not tight enough on the reel. A good tool.

After watching the video, the Piscifun line winder is very easy and does a fantastic job. My only constructive comment would be add another 6" piece to the rod. This would allow a line measuring device to be placed on the rod.

I've been waiting to buy this product. Most products made these days are junk, so I was skeptical. But, I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. It's easy to assemble and use. The tension knob is very helpful for doing the job right. I put new line on a reel in minutes. The distribution of the line around the reel was perfect, as was the tension. The right tension helps with the line coming off the reel, and going back on. I have three more to put line on, and this will be my tool of choice. I have already recommended to a friend who usually has me hold the line spool on a pencil when I'm visiting him for fishing trips.
