The chair looks fantastic to bathe my adult son who is disabled - just hope it holds up. I am waiting on a second chair due to the first one being broken when it arrived. The second chair arrived within a week. There is a small tear on the seat cushion due to a manufacture flaw, but I will not return this chair due to immediate need. I imagine that I will regret it later since the cushion is plastic and will probably continue to crack and tear. Amazon was very prompt in putting in the order for the return pick up and shipping out the new chair. I appreciate their great customer service. So when I say that I would probably not purchase another reclining shower chair it is because of the product and not Amazon.

Had to purchase another shower chair, as the previous one would occasionally allow my father in law to slip down. This one resolves that problem and the caregivers love it!! It is a little big, but we have a walk in shower for my father in law, so this fits fine. Assembly is very easy, took about 4 mins and this think is solid.... Extremely happy with the product. Price seemed a little high at first, but it's been worth every penny. I would recommend this to anyone.

So easy to roll my husband into his shower or just his bowel rograms

As a light weight chair, it has literally changed my life. I am a 6'3" 230llb quad paralyzed from my chest . This chair has allowed me to get into the shower and leave the bed bath behind.

It is long enough to fit my frame. As a big man, this chair is comfortable with its mesh back and adjustable head pillow. The back and legs have 6 adjustable settings allowing me to sit from straight up to nearly laying flat. It has a hole allowing access to my bottom and groin area.

It is very secure and easy to assemble by one person.

It is not without some flaws, however. The biggest con, is the small relativity cheap plastic casters. They broke after only a few showers. We have a small lip to get in and out of the show. This metal lip is part of the door frame. If you have a completely flat surface, you will have no problem.

We were able to solve this issue by replacing the small plastic casters with larger well-built rubber casters. You will need someone with some DIY skills. Once we did this modification, the chair works flawlessly.

One other personal concern is the hard seat pan. For most users,this will not be an issue. However, anyone with skin integrity issues this may be a concern. I have had multiple flap surgeries and have fragile skin that can tear easily. This was a simple fix. We use my rubber Roho cushion.
