I purchased this for my son as a cheaper alternative to renting as he started 5th grade band. The accessories are okay and what you'd expect from an entry level saxophone. Not a fan of the brushed antique finish (It looks better online than in person). The action on the keys are good. I would recommend having a small jeweler's screwdriver on hand as some of the smaller screws will occasionally need to be tightened. From the low Bb to Altissimo F# the sound is solid. I played it with a Bobby Dukoff D8, and Berg Larson 100/0 M mouthpiece and the sound was nice and bright.
Since it made it through his first year of band he'll hang on to it until he is ready to move onto something else.

Packaging was decent and it looked amazing when I opened it. but when I saw this scratch inside of it I was really disappointed. This is a gift for my girlfriend and I wanted to surprise her but I think I might take it back. 😒 It looks horrible

I started out playing the alto sax in my school band but gave it up and decided the piano was more my style. I wanted to start playing the alto sax again but I was looking at prices for saxophones and it just wasn't cutting my budget. I decided to give this one a try since it was in my price range and that it got relatively good reviews from people. It is a beautiful sax to look at and I like all the extras that came along with it. The sax sounds ok but I think it could sound better.The instrument could sound really good with some upgrades and minor adjustments, it's all up to how much your willing to spend to do so. Good for a beginner student or someone who just want's to take it up as a hobby.

this item was purchased for my 14 year old grand daughter who is just learning to play the saxaphone she loved it . not having to share it with other classmate is also great to have her own.. her music teacher was impressed so were other students they loved it as well... this christmas we bought her a piano/ organ.. shes into music and loves it alot the engraving on this saxaphone was just breathtaking .. also when she brings it to school she was tell it apart from others.. great gift and was worth every cent...
