Hot Glue TOOL

Wow. Yes, it's expensive, but, holy cow, if you're a hobbyist, it's worth it! Having a glue gun that isn't tied to a cord is a fantastic option, and if you need more run-time than the battery will give, you can always plug the AC cord into it. I absolutely love this tool, and haven't used my old glue gun (which feels like a toy compared to this thing) since. One thing to be aware of is that it's quite large, so it may be difficult to use for some applications.

Where to start, this glue gun actually works and works so well, I am looking for things to glue just to use it. It is a bit of an investment as it is north of $100, but I would pay double still for performance like this. I have many glue gun I picked up on the hunt for one that just worked well, search is over, this bad boy is the bees knees, works soooooooooo well and then there is that brilliant feature of the battery pack making it cordless for long periods. In corded and battery mode this works flawlessly, I am no tester by trade but in my experience is seems to work better with the battery pack. PERFECT.
Great glue gun, but the case needs to be redesigned

The glue gun seems to work very well with the Ryobi battery, which is what I was looking for. My one criticism is of the plastic case that holds the gun - it does NOT accommodate the gun if there is still a glue stick in it that extends past the end of the gun, thus rendering the plastic case useless most of the time (the instruction manual specifically states not to pull the glue stick out of the gun). It's really a shame because the case is otherwise very nice, and with a small design change this problem could have been fixed.
