Axle was ordered for a 06 Arctic Cat 500..Exact OEM replacement except for color- original axle was gray in color and this axle is black in color as shown in picture provided by seller. Axle can be used on either the left or right side rear of atv. Axle came with circlip on end of half shaft and nut ... the only shortcoming this OEM axle was it did not come with a cotter key....(15¢)
Shipping 2 days - standard (East Coast) and packaged brilliantly to prevent damage during shipment
This OEM axle replaces most year models from 06-10, in 2011 the axle was upgraded to a thicker axle. This is the same axle I have on my 08 650H1 with 32" silverbacks and a 3" highlifter lift and have yet to break one. So if you have not been breaking your original axles, this axle is perfect for you.If you ride hard, known to break an axle and have a lift, I suggest considering Gorillas..
Conclusion : I originally was searching for a inner cv joint kit to replace damaged (clicking) CV joint on rear axle. The cheapest I could find a kit was $49.99.... for $20 more a new axle was a no brainer. I have a torn boot on the opposite side, I may even use the good boot from damaged axle as OEM boots are thicker than aftermarket boots, more savings..
