My husband likes this set of coveralls much better than the Carharts he had

My husband likes this set of coveralls much better than the Carharts he had. These are warm and he can move around easily in them. He spent a lot of time snow-blowing the driveway this winter..we live near Erie, PA and were dumped on.....They worked wonderfully for him.
I highly recommend this coverall

Made in USA. I ordered medium regular and fits perfectly for me (160 lbs, 5'5"). Quality is top of the line. keeps me warm and comfy when I go fishing in marina. I highly recommend this coverall.
Probably the best cold weather suit on the market

I'll start with some fitting recommendations that can hopefully assist others in their sizing choice...
Most of the reviewers here haven't given details regarding fit beyond their body height and weight...and individual arm, leg, and torso lengths can vary widely.
I am 6'3", 200lbs
44 inch chest
25 inch torso length
22 inches armpit to wrist
38 inch waist
34 inch inseam
I initially bought the XL, and I made my choice based off reviews and the given sizing chart, but it turned out to be ridiculously large. I could literally fit two of me in it, and the legs were dragging all over the ground.
Returned that, then tried the large...body fit was good for chest and waist, but torso length was a bit on the short side. Legs were definitely "high water" style, and the arms too short.
Returned again, and tried the large tall. Finally! Body fit was great, and the extra two inches in the arms, legs, and torso length was much better. I can bend and stoop without the suit cramming up between my legs, and I have full arm and leg coverage.
There's plenty of room for a long sleeve shirt and pants underneath, though I prefer to wear a set of merino wool long underwear because let's be honest, wearing two sets of clothes is never comfortable. Wearing underwear with the suit over top is much better.
The suit is exceptionally warm, while the elastic cuffs and hood seal (great idea) are very comfortable and keep the cold air out. The leg zippers I could care less about, I never use that feature. Elastic around the waist keeps the suit close without being constricting at all.
I haven't been able to work in the suit outside all day yet since it has warmed back up again, but I was out one morning for about 90 minutes in 20 degree weather, not doing anything physical so as to prevent my core temp from rising...and I was very warm. The material looks and feels very high quality too, and all metal hardware is much preferred.
There are a couple flaws I must mention, one being the Velcro chin strap for the hood...I can't see that it's even needed since there is a button adjacent to it, and when the strap isn't being used it just dangles right in front of my face, scraping its sharp edges against my chin and cheek. There's no provision to secure it out of the way. Very poor design.
The other is the hood drawstring. Again I'm not sure why it's needed, as the hood itself is very well designed and fits securely around my head on its own. The hood seal really helps with this. When not being used there is nowhere to stow it, so it either dangles out front, or you can throw it over the hood where it dangles behind you. I can't have things hanging off me, so I will be removing the drawstring and Velcro strap.
Despite those two minor flaws I thought were worth mentioning, so far this is still the best cold weather suit I've tried. It was definitely frustrating going through the sizing process though, so hopefully my measurements can help the next person.
I'll update down the road on everyday wearability and durability...

Cant lift above head or pick anything on ground. Uncomfortable.

If you plan to lift anything above your head or picking anything up on the ground its not for you. Crotch to shoulder way too small. Warm suit but cannot move as needed for work. I would go a size up but most likely would be even more constricted from way tol oversized amrs and legs. Thought this was going to be it for winter work but didn't deliver what it pitched.
like thirty to forty minutes
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•November 10, 2017
This suit is okay for small time bursts in the cold, like thirty to forty minutes. Unfortunately the winters on the flight line where I work in New Mexico are freezing and very, very windy. After a couple hours outside in the freezing weather with the 50+ knot winds the cold seeps through the outer layers and you freeze your ass off.
If it's not too windy like under 50 knots it takes a little longer for the cold to seep through. Unfortunately I still have to bundle up before I put this outfit on and that makes it a little tight, I got an XL since I'm 6ft 200lbs, anything larger is way too bulky and anything smaller is to tiny. Like I said if it's not windy this suits alright, but at night with the wind it's honestly not much better than any other moderately affordable to expensive snow suit I have already purchased before to try and combat the extreme cold and the wind.
I do like the coveralls, they are comfortable, but I expected more for the cold rating they have. Now I do spend around 90% of my time at work outside on a flight line, so its all open space and no wind blocks. This suit is probably great for people who work in similar climates that have wind blocks and don't spend between 7 to 12 hours out side in the cold continuously.
Hopefully this helps you guys searching for good cold weather gear, remember everyone is different just because this suit doesn't really work for me doesn't mean it wont work for you. Good luck in your search for warmth and protection from the elements.
