worked for a halloween costume. They definitely run a bit small so just be weary. I am a pretty petite female so the gloves fit ok but any larger hands or larger arms may have problems.
Men, if using these for a superhero costume, these are for SMALL hands.

Men: If wanting these for a "super hero" costume, you should know that these are for small hands. They are indeed elbow-length, but probably made for an adult woman's hand. The width of the palm is pretty narrow.
They are white in color, but they do have a silvery-satin-type sheen to them. (Not a big deal, but if making a costume, you should know that this color white may differ from vinyl white of, say, patent leather boots or belt.)
