These pants are perfect work pants. As a women who goes up and down in weight, and carries a lot of weight in the butt, these are just amazing. They are a relaxed fit and that extra stretch around the waist area is perfect so you do not feel uncomfortable in your pants all day at work! They fit me well on the rear and then are loose in the leg, just what I prefer for work pants. Its a modest and professional look, and I can't believe the convenience of finding the perfect work pants on Amazon and not having to go into a stores, searching aimlessly. Really you won't be disappointed with these pants. I am also very short (5'0 feet) and with a 3 inch heel these hit right where I like.

One feature on the closure that I had never seen before is the inside waist slanted buttonhole. I will be looking for more of these in another color! Briggs is a great brand.

I got these for my wife because she needed some good business casual pants for her work. They fit better than we expected and they look really nice on her. The pants seem well designed and look like they will last with proper care.

The pants are very comfortable and fit well. I ordered the same size I usually buy in department stores, and they are OK. The fabric is stretchy, so I think the pants cover a couple of sizes easily. The pockets were sewn shut when the pants arrived, but the thread started becoming loose as I was wearing the pants, so I opened them and they are fine. The fabric is OK, fairly thick and decent looking. It does have a synthetic feeling, but it fairly thick, it hangs well and is not see-through. The grey was a classic grey, a little smoother and the color more uniform than it looked in the picture. (I was expecting some kind of texture). The fabric did not stretch considerably through the day, so the pants fit the same through the day (I have a pair of jeans that are tight in the morning and need a belt in the afternoon). There are some loose threads, but the workmanship is similar to what one would expect in a pair of department store pants of similar cost. All things considered, a good buy for the price, especially considering the fact that the pants have pockets. We'll see how long they last, I will update the review if they fall apart too soon.

I ordered these in petite so I could wear them with flats or low heals to work. I ordered them in a size larger than I normally wear and while the length was exactly what I wanted by ordering petite, I felt they were smaller than other pants I had ordered similarly in size. So to me, I would say they ran a little small. But I do want to add that they are well made and a great buy.
