The food being packed in portions is such a time saver. No more looking for lids! My picky cat loves them.

Our cat loves anything to do with turkey or chicken. I do a lot of research on pet safety with the food choices that you give your animals or pets. I have found that Sheba has a lot of excellent ingredients. So I am super thankful to find these perfect portions. I have had to give her more wet food in her diet. So these have really worked out well. I am always buying these so thankful that you have them!

Our cat Oscar is a chunky Tuxedo Manx and is always hungry. When he hears the click of the plastic turkey containers being broken apart, he just about goes nuts. But apart from how this food is viewed from a cat's perspective, finding it was a huge boon for Oscar's human parents, namely us. These little portions are a fantastic help at kitty's mealtime. One, they are small enough for a cat snack and two, also the right size to add to a small 3 oz regular tin of cat food for a hearty dinner, e.g. Purina One which we also purchase from Amazon and which is also highly regarded by Oz. A little caveat here to fellow kitty caretakers: If you have weaker type fingers, after opening dozens of these containers you will be amazed at how strong your hands get. :) The foil lid has to be peeled away, but gently, unless you like turkey sauce all over the counter and your hands. You will develop a technique for it over time but unless you lift weights, don't barge in expecting it to be easy. Then, the opening finally over, fill up the container with some very hot water to get all the sauce out and add that to the bowl of food. That helps to get some water into cats for their kidney health. And so concludes this lengthy review! Thank you Sheba Perfect Portions, thank you, Amazon!!

...after trying so many brands and flavors, THIS product is the winner!

My cats love all the flavors we've tried from the Sheba Pate Perfect Portions but this Signature Seafood is the favorite of our extremely picky eater "” our 18 year old senior cat with hyperthyroidism. She likes wet food without chunks "” pate style but it must have a LOT of gravy or broth. This Signature Seafood flavor seems to have the most liquid/broth in it and it's her favorite. We tried several of the Sheba flavors with her but this is what she consistently ate.

We also like that it comes in two smaller portions. This keeps the food fresher for my finicky eater. She rarely eats all of what we put out and once it's been open and doesn't smell right she definitely won't eat it. That's why the portion sizes of this Sheba have been so fantastic! It keeps it fresh for her and the portion sizes are just right.

Since she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, it's been a chore to find foods our senior cat will eat. She's hungry but is hard to please. This is one of only 3 foods we can get our 18 year old cat to eat with regularity and we have to rotate those out. Of those, this has been consistently her favorite.

She became so finicky a few years ago, and refused to eat nearly everything we tried. We spent hundreds of dollars trying out foods and she got down to 6 pounds. We tried this out of desperation when she suddenly stopped eating the previous food we found that she would eat.

Usually she has to be coaxed to eat but once we discovered this she will eat the whole portion and she will ask for more food during the day -which is a miracle for her "” instead of us pushing it on her throughout the day.

The only con is that when you peel off the top, the liquid drips a bit but that's a very small drawback for the convenience and practicality of the packaging.
