We bought this for our 20yr old son for his birthday. He says he loves it.

I was very happy with this product at first, but after it was used a couple of time (hand washed after each use) the awesome color changed. Now I am lost the interest on this. Just using like normal coffee mug.

As a huge Doctor Who fan, or Whovian as I found out they like to be called, my boyfriend was overjoyed with this gift. I wanted to surprise him with something special to let him know I care about him and I happened to see this mug and thought it was the perfect thing.

The first couple of times he used it, the color changing effects seemed to be a little on the weak side. After about 3 uses we didn't seem to notice the delay anymore. It's really cool to watch him pour his coffee in and see his face light up as the seven different Doctors screwdrivers all seem to appear from space slowly filling in from bottom to top. I wish the mug was a little bit bigger since he needs his coffee like the rest of us need air, but I'm not saying the mug is small by any means as it is an average sized coffee mug. After continuous use for a couple of weeks, we've seen no wear or tear on the mug or the heat activated decals. Be sure to read all the instructions that come with it because you'll notice it clearly states that you should hand-wash only.

This mug is a great gift for any hot beverage drinker that calls themselves a fan of Doctor Who. Or maybe even for kids interested in science to show them how things can be made to react to heat. All-in-all this is a great mug.

I gave this mug to my husband for Christmas, and as a big Doctor Who fan he loved it! Unfortunately as instructions indicate it should not be washed in the dishwasher, which can be a little annoying but overall not the biggest inconvenience.

Bought this for my best friend for Christmas, she is OBSESSED with doctor who! When she opened it she freaked out and made me put hot water in it so she could see the galaxy and screwdrivers appear! It was so great to see the excitement on her face and how entertained she was by it revealing things with hot water! I made sure to tell her not to microwave it (she had extremely horrible adhd and doesn't pay much attention to the care of things unless specifically told what to do) and so far I haven't heard of anything bad happening to it (unless she hasn't told me)
