The gloves are very stiff. If you have a lot of work do with them, your hands will become fatigued quickly. The claws are cheapo charlie plastic. The back side of the claws are hollow and open which will trap food making it difficult to clean and keep sanitary. I am also concerned that plastic will break off while shredding meat. The brush is a cheap 25 cent brush. I will not recommend this unless you are a cheapo charlie yourself and you like low quality products. Returning to Amazon as soon as I can figure it out.
Good products. Definitely worth the money.

I use the gloves almost every weekend when I fire up the smoker.
The gloves work very well, but when holding very hot things, you can start feeling the heat after a minute or so. I am not brave enough to do the boiling water test, although I would bet for 30 seconds you would be fine.
The bear claws are sturdy and work well for pulling a pork butt.

Each item performs its job well. If you wear large men's gloves or smaller, these gloves will fit you perfectly. I wear welding gloves to handle the grill and then slip into these silicone ones to transfer piping hot pork shoulders to a tray because they are easy to clean. Are the claws made of solid adamantium? No. Do they need to be any stronger than the thin plastic they are? No; I clawed apart 9 pounds of pork shoulder with no flex in the claws at all. I see some folks complaining that the basting brush silicone separates from the handle. I believe they would also complain if they couldn't take it apart to clean. All silicone basting brushes I've ever bought, including fancy ones from Williams-Sonoma, have friction-fit heads so you can easily disassemble for cleaning.

I was going to buy another brand, but these looked like a better deal. Same or less money with "extra stuff". The brush works well, but the handle came off at the first wash (maybe it is suppose to?). Gloves are hard to put on/take off (my hands must be gigantic!) I carried a pan from the grill to the counter 5 feet away and it was getting really HOT. Not much protection. The claws are not tested yet, but look ok.
I really like the quality and functionality of these gloves

I purchased these to use mainly when grilling/smoking on my Traeger. I do a lot of grilling, smoking and BBQing. I have tried a lot of different products in the past. I really like the quality and functionality of these gloves! They work great removing hot meat from the grill. They are also great to keep on while you sliced something hot like a tri-tip or brisket, both of which I cook. They are also good for flipping 1/2 chickens on an open pit and quartering them. I can't say enough about the gloves, they are well worth the investment. The brush is a great brush for basting or saucing up meat/ribs before, during or after meat comes off grill. It's easy to clean as it comes apart too. I am yet to use the claws, but they are well made and very sturdy. I am sure they will round out a great purchase. The seller is very responsive and sent an email to make sure the products arrived promptly and asked about customer satisfaction. That is what makes for a 5 star experience.
