I purchased this set for my young niece's birthday as she has recently been getting into sketching and inking. I wanted to get her a good introductory set that included all the fundamentals for sketching, and this was one of the only ones I found that not only came with the full range of pencils but also a good metal sharpener, a kneaded and vinyl eraser and tortillions. The price was incredible for everything received so I was a little worried about the quality, but once they arrived I was thoroughly impressed! I made her a pencil roll, so I opened these before giving them to her so that I could put them inside and thus was able to inspect everything first hand. So far she says that they sharpen well without the lead breaking and for her needs they preform perfectly! She's already done a few drawings and is getting really good at learning to shade and blend! This is a great set for any beginner, and likely even those a bit more advanced!
