• •SLIDE ADAPTER: This adapter piece converts the Mighty Probe into a mini slide hammer probe. The slide adapter threads between the shaft and handle of the Mighty Probe. It has a 6-inch stroke and adds 8 inches to the overall length of the probe. Please Note: The slide adapter will not work with the T&T Tools Smart Stick.
• •HAMMER PROBE: The Mighty Probe is a high-end tool providing rigidity and safety. The slide adapter gives the probe a hammer effect so it can drive the probe into compacted soil conditions.
• •RUGGED DESIGN: The metal slide adapter is made of steel and heat treated for added durability. The Mighty Probe is a steel soil probe is great for hard or frozen ground and designed to resist bending and bowing.
• •INSULATED PROBE: The Mighty Probe includes a 6-inch composite isolator to help protect the operator from electrical shocks while providing the benefits of a steel rod. Please note: this tool is not intended to replace your other personal protective equipment.
• •50,000 VOLTS: The Mighty Probe features an isolator for increased protection against accidental shock from contact with energized lines. An independent testing laboratory tested the Mighty Probe to 50,000 volts. It has also been tested by the commercial laboratory services of a major utility company both dry and 48-hour water soak to 45,000 volts.
