Worked great on the upcycled leather belt cuffs I make. I purchased them to use on the ends of the belts where the holes for sizing are. Easy to set and they hold up to the hammering to set them. I placed a piece of leather over the turquoise top piece when I hammered them to set them. I used a nylon mallet to set them. I plan on ordering them again in the future. I just wish the red color was the same price.

This review is in response to the customer question; "The ones in the picture have a flat back, what I received have a conical shape to the back, will the still lay flat ? " To answer the question, yes they do lay flat. I included a sample of the rivets I receive from them (each time). How it lays depends on the fabric or media you are using and the thickness along with your ability to install them. It takes some practice to get it right but worth the time. You do need to be careful not to apply to much pressure or the top will crack. If that happens, it is easy enough to remove the entire rivet and reinstall a new one. I use a die and mechanical press to install mine. They also launder well. I have captions on each of the pictures to help answer your question. I do hope it helps.
