Good quality chopsticks, but the case leaves something to be desired.

The chopsticks are solid without being too heavy and screw together easily. They have small notches near their tips to help grip food. My one issue is with the case: the material is not easy to clean and there are no dividers to make individual pockets for the different sets of sticks. As a consequence, if you put used sticks back into the case, they will come in contact with the clean sticks and potentially contaminate them as well as stain the case itself.

Compact for my pocket and easy to clean. These are smooth steel and a bit slippery. There are two pair but -one- case, which is silly.

Poorly made threads. Of 8 pieces (2 pair) only 4 can screw together into one (1) pair of chopsticks. Even then, threads are crooked so must remember which parts are less crooked when joined. My one slightly crooked pair are never solidly joined. You have to tighten periodically during use. Still they are fair to push panda or lower quality take out onto a plate at home.
The pair that cannot be joined into chopsticks make OK swizzle sticks in a pinch, sigh.
I don't think Chinese who work at this factory understand what chopsticks are for.
I also bought a Fire-Maple sandalwood set which, unlike these, can actually be used elegantly in restaurants.

I am very pleased with this set! My partner and I were just saying the other day that we needed to get some re-usable chopsticks with a case that could stay in my purse so we could make sure to never use the disposable restaurant ones again - and these were a perfect solution to that! They are lovely to look at, and it's very nice that both sets go in one small case. I also feel like they are weighted nicely for comfortable use.
Don't have to use those nas-tay plastic reusable ones in the restaurants.

Going to Thailand later this year and I'm brining these with me. I use stainless steel chopsticks on a daily basis at home so using these weren't a difficult transition. I'm going to keep a set in my purse. I haven't had any problems these unscrewing during use.
