These little bales are far less messy than loose hay. They take up less room to store and my guinea pig loves them.

My guinea pig went crazy when I put one of the 'bales' into his cage. He prefers it to his regular hay. It is much easier to clean up, not as much waste and he really loves it. I took some to a friend with two guineas and the minute we put it into their cage they both jumped at it and started eating. This is the best food around, especially if you have spoiled animals!!!

Update: I bought it again because my bun loves it so much on the first purchase, the second purchase the bale is more broken apart, and so much dust in the bag. It's almost 1/4 bag of it. Unlike the first one, It was almost no dust in it. I hope my bun still like this like the first one.

These "hay bales" are about the size of a baby food jar, and a healthy alternative to alfalfa cubes for adult bunnies. If I see a bunny chewing on something they're not supposed to, giving them one of these is the perfect distraction. Of course, they also get them in other contexts so I'm not training them to chew up the house for a reward. XD
