I bought this as a storage bag for the boom/sails and centerboard and rudder for my small sailboat - nobody else makes or sells a storage bag of the appropriate size. Wow! While this is a departure from what this bag is advertised to be (a longboard bag) it fits the bill better than anything I could imagine. Outstanding quality, great value, and exactly the size to do the job. I have to trailer my sailboat (a vintage Nomad 14) anywhere I use it, so having a secure place to put all the loose gear for road trips is essential and this bag is the perfect solution.

I got this 9'2" bag for a 9' long board in order to protect it from the sun on trips to the beach (we have to drive an hour+ to get to a beach). I needed no frills like 15 pockets or such other things. It is about 4" longer than the board, which is fine by me and means a 9'2" board will fit fine. It's thick enough to protect it from dings and the tip and tail are reinforced. The only thing I don't like, which is why I deducted a star, is that the sling is not detachable (but they told me that in the description) AND can't be adjusted for a smaller person to use properly. If you are tall (over 5"6" or so, it's not an issue. Other than that, the bag is a good value for the money

These bags are not travel bags for protection on a world surf tour. These are day bags to protect the boards from sun and other elements while in storage or day use. For their intent these bags are excellent and the price is very reasonable. Great day bags.
