This is a great little transformer for LED strip lighting. When you turn it on it takes a couple of seconds to power up and activate the lights, but other than that it's a nice little performer! I used one to light up two display cases with approximately 50' of LEDs and it's performed great for a few months now!

This adapter is exactly what I was looking for. Unlike the one I had previously, this plugs directly into and lies flat against the wall, taking up far less space in my kitchen cabinet than the old corded version. Works great with a full roll of strip lights. Should be plenty for at least an additional roll. Pig tail was a bit short but not a problem for my install.

It's loud when you first plug something into it like LED strips, but after it warms up it will go quiet. Still, perfect for LED strips. and no mine did not catch on fire or blow up.
